To rent a vehicle from Spa City Car Rental, you must meet the following requirements:

• Be at least 21 years old.

• Present a valid physical driver's license.

• Prepay for your rental using one credit card/debit card (must be issued by a traditional bank or credit union). The card used for the reservation must be present at pickup. We cannot release a vehicle without the card present. The card must be in the renters name.

• If paying debit, the renter must provide a recent utility bill (gas, electric, or water) in the renters name.

• Prepaid cards and cards associated with online payment services or fintech accounts, including Venmo, Cash App, Chime, and similar services, are not accepted.

Additional Drivers

• Your spouse may be added as an additional driver at no extra charge.

• All other additional drivers are $20 per day and must provide a valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and meet our rental requirements.

Insurance

• All renters must either:

  • Purchase insurance through Spa City Car Rental,

    or

  • Verify their personal auto insurance through our insurance verification system.

• If using your own insurance, your policy must include collision coverage. If it does not, collision coverage can be purchased at the rental counter.

Security Deposit

• A $500 security deposit is required at pickup.

• The deposit must be authorized using the same card used to pay for the rental.
